The Netherlands government has awarded scholarships to 27 Rwandan students to pursue studies in various disciplines at various levels of higher education in Netherlands.students were selected for a scholarship by the Orange Knowledge Program .

The new Head of Development Cooperation Martin Koper addressed the students during the cocktail and asked them to fly the Rwandan flag high, while in the Netherlands and to come back and use the knowledge they gained for the development of the economy of Rwanda. The Prosecutor General graced the evening as a former beneficiary to the program and alumni from the University of Groningen. He inspired the young professionals by sharing his own experiences as a student in the Netherlands and had some practical tips.
