The ALU School of business MBA programme is the first pan-African programme of its kind. Designed for ambitious, working professionals who are immersed in dynamic economies across Africa, this world-class, 20-month programme blends in-classroom ‘’intensive’’ sessions with interactive, online learning. The blended learning model allows you to fit your studies around your work schedule, enabling you to apply and practice new tools, frameworks and insights on the job.

They generally require that applicants have at least 5 years of substantive, post graduate work experience, evidencing career progression.The ALU School of business MBA programme is for working professionals, therefore they expect that you are professionally occupied for the duration of this programme.
A dynamic career that demonstrates career progression speaks to leadership potential. They also look for opportunities that you have taken to lead throughout your academic and professional experience.
They re looking for students who demonstrate high analytical aptitude and an ability to rapidly master new concepts.
The ALU School of business MBA programme is a demanding, 20-month programme. It will take grit and discipline to complete. Expect to commit 15-20 hours per week to your studies during online periods. Much emphasis is placed on group work and peer learning.
Once you have created an account and started your application, you will be able to save your application and return to it at anytime, until you have submitted your application.
Please take into account the 2 round deadlines and plan to submit your application accordingly.
The admission committee will not review your application unless it is complete.
Application submission & review
Once your application has been confirmed as complete, it will be reviewed by the ALUSB MBA admissions committee, which is made up of admissions staff and faculty.
Interviews are by invitation only. If the admissions committee feels that your application is competitive, you will be invited to a Skype interview with a member of the admissions committee.
You will be informed of your admission decision within two weeks of your interview.

What you need
Tell them about yourself. Brief details such as gender, nationality and years of work experience.
Two references are required. One must be a direct supervisor or someone to whom you have been accountable.
One-page resume that clearly summarizes your professional profile, career progression and academic achievements.
