The Kigali Hub of Global Shapers invites you to apply to join the hub. Applications will be accessible between January 15 — January 31, 2019.
Who we are
Kigali Global Shapers are members the Kigali hub of the Global Shapers Community, an initiative by World Economic Forum. The aim of the Global Shapers Community is to give young people a voice in the dialogue, a platform to contribute and resources to act towards impacting the world around them. Global Shapers are exceptional young people from different areas of specialty passionate about social impact and the role entrepreneurship plays in it.
Professor Klaus Schwab, Founder of World Economic Forum, realized that as much as The Forum was ensuring the participants from the public and private sectors were engaging in a constructive dialogue, that the young people, the future, were being left out of the discussion. With the help of young people working within the forum, they launched the Global Shapers Community in 2011 to give young people in those countries a voice, both locally and globally.
