Branch Manager (1 Position)

a) Job Summary

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing smooth and efficient management of operations of the Branch through proper planning, resourcing, coordination and performance Management.

b) Key Responsibilities

  • Working with the Director of Currency and Banking Operations in setting standards for service delivery based on internally set standards as well feedback from the existing clients;
  • Establishing resource plans within the branch including staffing requirements;
  • Overseeing effective service delivery within the branch;
  • Defining and driving implementation of high operation standards among staff and processes that ensure high customer satisfaction rating;
  • Developing staff development plans, and training, in line with expected output and existing gaps;
  • Building and developing a high performing team through embedding performance development, mentorship and coaching;
  • Ensuring that BNR standards are well communicated and understood by all staff within the Branch;
  • Overseeing branch Operations and controls and preparing branch monthly reports;
  • Formulation and Implementation of branch development strategies;
  • Participation in Operations/ Branch managers’ meetings as planned;
  • Undertaking customer relationship building and maintenance.
  • Maintain proper vault cash levels including ordering or repatriation of currency
  • Keep staff informed of changes in operational policies and procedures.

c)Education and Experience Requirements

  • At least a Master’s Degree in Commerce or Business Administration.
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in a financial institution in an operational oversight role; with at least two (2) in a managerial capacity.
