Corporate Relationship Manager
The Position
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Banking the job holder will be the liaison between the corporate customers and the Bank, to ensure growth in a designated corporate portfolio through ensuring operational and customer service deliverables are met in order to maximize the Bank’s revenue
Main position responsibilities are:
- Maintains the corporate clients Relationships
- Increase corporate market share
- Resolve customer service issues and deliver excellent service clients
- Daily monitoring of overdrawn accounts, monthly report for assets and revenues and other relevant reports for the designated corporate portfolio.
- Ensure preparation of appropriate reports.
- Preparation of credit memos and analysis of financial information
- Monitoring and Recovery of grade 1 and 2 assets.
- Preparation of memos for temporary excesses and temporary overdraft for borrowing and non-borrowing customers.
- Maintain a good loan book, reduce accounts out of order and downgrading/provisions
- Work closely with the Senior Corporate Relationship Manager to meet set targets in generating revenues, grow assets and liabilities.

Qualifications and Experience:
- University Degree preferably in Business related field. A post graduate and or Banking qualification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 6years’ experience in commercial banking with 3 years as a Corporate Relationship Manager in Corporate Banking.
- Good appreciation and knowledge of the Banking Industry, latest Corporate Banking market trends.
- A good understanding of Banking Law and Practice as well as Corporate Governance Principles.
- Sound IT proficiency.
- An appreciation of Risk Management and Knowledge of internal control
- Strong networking and interpersonal skills with proven people, communication and negotiation skills
