The University of Rwanda/UR, College of Medicine and Health Sciences/School of Medicine and Pharmacy in collaboration with the Institute of Legal Medicine, University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (Universitatsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf, UKE) is organizing the 7th Interdisciplinary Forensic Summer School
When: The Summer School is due to take place at the Nobleza Hotel/Kicukiro District from July 2nd — 5th, 2018
Curriculum: will consist of both theoretical and practical sessions on different aspects of medico legal casework including forensic DNA analysis, toxicology, autopsy, poslmorterr imaging, tissue/organ transplantation, forensic physical evidences, forensic anthropology, psycho-trauma, etc. Lectures will be delivered by experts from the Institute of Legal Medicine, UKE-Hamburg and the University of Rwanda. The sessions will be conducted under the following workshops: Anthropology, PTSD/Trauma, Child Abuse/GBV/Autopsy, DNA, Toxicology and Tissue/organ transplantation
Participants: intended for medical doctors, medical students, postgraduate students, laboratory scientists/technicians, biologists, clinical psychologists, pharmacists; 60 candidates will be retained for this year’s summer school.

Requirements for Applicants:
Should be a medical doctors, medical students, postgraduate students, biologists, clinical psychologists, pharmacists, lab technician/scientist with at least AO level degree in a public hospital setting.
Candidates in the Field of forensic science will be encouraged to apply
