The UNDP and Digital Society School (Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences) are inviting you to join the 3rd edition of the GLOBAL GOAL JAM.

Global Goals Jam 2018 is a 2 day event consisting of 4 designed sprints. Creative teams of designer, Developers and Jammers for the local community working together using a tailored toolkit; together we will create interventions aimed at short term targets in support of long term goals.

Eligibilities
• Be a resident in Rwanda,
• Be available during the two days of the jam
• Have a strong affiliation with the SDG’s
• Ready to engage fully in the jam activities
• Ready to work in a team
• Fluent in English
• Be familiar with the use of internet
• Possess a laptop that can capture a WiFi- Women candidates are encouraged to apply
Challenges
Local designed challenges for the Jam #Kigali
#challenge 1: How can we empower youth from secondary schools to be more like an opportunity rather than a threat to the employment level in Rwanda during the one year vacancy before the university studies?
#challenge 2. : How can we monitor children nutrition on a daily basis in our communities(homes)? How can we achieve zero death of new born in our country?
#challenge 3: How can we boost gender equality in relation to mother-parents responsibilities in a family routine?
#challenge 4: How can we facilitate the good education of student in a place without electrical power?
#challenge 5: How can we achieve affordable residential households related to Kigali master plan?
