Open Positions
1. Accountant
Location: Kigali, Rwanda
Overview: Responsible for accurate financial recordkeeping, managing accounts, preparing statements, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

Proficiency in financial software (QuickBooks, Sage)

Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills
2. Executive Secretary
Location: Kigali, Rwanda
Overview: Provide high-level administrative support to senior executives, manage schedules, handle confidential information, and coordinate communications.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Business, or related field

At least 3 years’ experience supporting executives
-
Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Strong MS Office proficiency
3. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Officer
Location: Kigali, Rwanda
Overview: Oversee program performance tracking, evaluation, and data-driven reporting, while designing MEL frameworks to improve impact.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Statistics, or related field

Minimum 4 years’ MEL experience in governance or development sectors

Strong data collection and analysis skills

Familiarity with MEL tools (SPSS, Stata, DevResults)
4. Program Manager
Location: Kigali, Rwanda
Overview: Lead program design, implementation, and oversight, ensuring alignment with ASGF’s mission and effective stakeholder engagement.
Requirements:

Master’s in Public Policy, International Development, or similar field

At least 5 years’ program management experience

Strong leadership, budgeting, and reporting skills

Proven experience with multi-stakeholder and donor-funded projects
5. Administration Officer
Location: Kigali, Rwanda
Overview: Manage daily administrative operations, including procurement, logistics, recordkeeping, and facility coordination.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Management, or related field

Minimum 3 years of administrative experience

Excellent coordination and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple systems effectively
6. Finance and Administration Manager
Location: Kigali, Rwanda
Overview: Provide leadership in financial planning, compliance, and administration while supporting executive leadership with strategic decisions.
Requirements:

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
-
At least 7 years of progressive finance and administration experience (NGO sector preferred)
-
CPA or equivalent professional certification desirable

Strong leadership and audit/reporting expertise
7. Partnerships and Legal Manager
Location: Kigali, Rwanda
Overview: Build and manage institutional partnerships, donor relations, and ensure legal compliance in ASGF operations and programs.
Requirements:

Master’s in Law, International Relations, Public Administration, or similar field

At least 5 years’ experience in legal advisory or partnership development

Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills

Knowledge of nonprofit law, contracts, and policy frameworks
8. Program Officer
Location: Kigali, Rwanda
Overview: Support program planning, coordination, and monitoring, working closely with the Program Manager across multiple thematic areas.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s in Political Science, International Development, or related field

At least 2 years’ relevant experience in program delivery or research

Strong writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with governance and policy issues in Africa
