Irembo is a technology company that designs and develops digital products focused on users in Africa, starting with Rwanda. IremboGov, Irembo’s pioneer product, is a government services platform. To date, it has 8M+ users in Rwanda and offers over 98 services online. We are using this experience to develop a wide range of products that will transform the tech ecosystem as we know it.

What you will do:

· Financial reporting to Management with recommendations

· Developing strategic business plans based on the company reports

· Advise Management on how to price the various new products and develop various tools such as statistical and financial models to analyze the performance of the business

· Gather and analyze financial information for internal use and offer professional guidance to enable management in investment decision making

· Report on the performance of the various profit centers and provide vital statistics relating to the business

· Trend analysis to identify opportunities for different projects and potential risks

· Preparing business performance analyses and forecast to support the future direction of the company

· Preparing detailed reports pertaining to revised annual forecasts and amendments that occurred in the budget, during the entire financial year.

· Consolidating the data for budget presentation and also providing an overview of the financial status of all the operations.

· Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.

· Ensures business processes, administration, and financial management are in order.

You will be a good fit if:

· You have excellent writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills, including clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.

· You have a strong understanding of financial planning and accounting principles.

· You have strong interest in financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.

· You are comfortable with financial reporting software e.g SAP, business intelligence tools e.g Tableu and team collaboration tools.

· Your personal values include confidentiality, professionalism and integrity.

· You have experience in business analysis and strategy formulation

· You have excellent business judgment and a focus on business outcomes.

· You are familiar with internet technologies or have an ability to quickly get up to speed on complex technical issues.

· You have 5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role with at least 2 of the years as a Team Leader.

· You are fluent in English and Kinyarwanda.

· You have a Degree in Finance and Accounting. Masters, CPA or ACCA qualifications are an added advantage.
