The COVID-19 Adaptation Fund has been launched in partnership between Instiglio, a donor, and the Global Development Incubator (GDI) to help Service Provider organizations innovate and adapt their programming in response to the global coronavirus pandemic. Service Providers (SPs) that support poor and vulnerable populations in Kenya and
Rwanda, and that are registered in Kenya and/or Rwanda, are eligible to apply. Funds may be used to develop and test innovative, flexible ideas that respond to current COVID-related challenges.
The main components of the RFP for the Adaption Fund are summarized below:

Number of Grants to be awarded- Approximately 8-10 awards (depending on proposals received and total amount requested by applicants).
Eligibility
Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) with current operations in Kenya and Rwanda and experience in the poverty alleviation and/or livelihoods sectors.
NGOs must be registered in Kenya and/or Rwanda to be selected. Organizations already engaged in the Poverty Alleviation Outcomes Fund are especially encouraged to apply.
