US Embassy Rwanda, in partnership with Igire Rwanda Organization and Noble Women would like to invite the interested girls and women with entrepreneurial mindsets to apply to the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE)
Academy for Women Entrepreneurs uses DreamBuilder, an online training program on women’s entrepreneurship developed through a partnership between Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School of Management and global copper mining company Freeport-McMoRan, which teaches women to create their own business plans, understand how to raise capital, and connect with networks of successful business owners. In addition, we connect AWE participants to additional opportunities by leveraging alumni networks, nongovernmental organizations, and more.
AWE Participants in Rwanda will spend 6 months , October 2019 – March, 2010, learning about business through online and in person sessions. They will also have opportunities to interact with business people and other inspirational individuals to expand their business journey. There will be weekly online courses and assignments to complete before attending in person, on Thursdays from 4:30 – 6 pm.
