As part of the expansion strategy we are looking for interested, qualified and competent candidates to fill the following position:

1. Job Title: Aircraft wheels and Brake shop technicians.

2. Reports to: Workshop Manager

3. Job purpose

Wheel and brake shop technician will be responsible for repair and overhaul of aircraft wheels and brakes.

4. Duties and Responsibilities

    • Carry out inspection, repair, overhaul and testing of aircraft wheels and brakes in accordance with RCARs and Rwandair workshop procedures.
    • Daily audit of tools, equipment and machines used to ensure their serviceability
    • Sign off and keep record of all work performed on wheels and brakes to maintain correct and up to date component history.
    • Check and update all documentation for wheels and brakes
    • Report all incident and accident occurrence within the workshop to his/her supervisor
    • Report unserviceable tools and equipment to his/her supervisor and label the unserviceable item according to RwandAir procedures.
    • Adhere to company safety policy

5. Qualification, Knowledge, skills and abilities;

      • Completion of secondary education.
      • Certificate/Diploma from IPRC in Auto Mechanics in added advertise.
      • At least two (2) years’ experience in a garage with preference tire change.
      • Must be below 29 years of age.
      • Must be conversant to interpret technical drawings
      • Interpersonal communication skills,
      • People oriented
      • Be able to use appropriate maintenance data.
      • Attentive to details.
      • Very enthusiastic to perform in the position.
