Job Description
Monitor day to day behavior and discipline of the youth and handling their interpersonal conflicts
Make sure all trainees are timely availed in various sessions and services/programs
Plan and implement civic education program.
Ensure that every trainee has health insurance and well filed.
Monitor the general health status of the youth in the center and report to the nurse and other authorities.
Accompanying the youth who may be transferred outside the center.
Ensure that every trainee is accommodated
Ensuring that the breakfast, lunch and supper is shared on time
Continually monitoring the general living environment of the youth and report to the management.
Make sure the uniform of youth is kept clean, repaired and replaced if necessary;
Ordering cleaning hygienic and bedding materials;
Ensuring the corporal hygiene of the youth.
Plan recreation needs of the youth and make a plan to implement them.
Promote recreation talents and
Competitions of the youth in/out the center and advocate for their development
Day to day update of youth statistics.
Produce periodic reports
Job Profile
Bachelor’s Degree or A1 in social work, sociology, and Education.
Key technical skills & knowledge required:
– Knowledge of handling psychological disorders;
– Knowledge in conflict management;
– Problem-solving skills;
– Judgment & decision-making skills;
– Time management skills;
– Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English and/or French; knowledge of all is an advantage.
