Job Purpose:

The ATM Manager is responsible for the overall management, supervision and administration of the Bank’s Automated Teller Machine (ATM) network. Specific emphasis is placed on; being responsible for the daily monitoring and operational efficiencies, drafting / reviewing relevant processes and procedures. He / she will be in charge of developing and / or contributing towards related strategies for the ATM network management.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Identifying business prospects and initiate the growth agenda for the ATM Network
  • Ensure that appropriate regulatory and audit best standards and demands are developed, maintained and achieve 100% satisfactory ratings.
  • Accountable for establishing and managing all applicable internal audit and regulatory exam submissions and results, delivering a robust methodology of transparent and monitored controls.
  • Weekly and monthly reports to the Bank’s Management on all above results areas and include reports on system uptime, and customer complaints.
  • Monitoring and providing feedback of the new ATM product’s performance on a month-on-month basis
  • Responsible for demonstrating thought leadership by clearly understanding and communicating the ATM strategy to key business partners throughout the Bank.
  • Responsible for supporting the delivery of business revenue targets particularly ensuring complete revenue collection for the ATM channel.
  • Manage the daily end to end operations and production activities associated with the Bank’s ATM operations that includes optimum network utilization, payment functionalities accepted through the ATM Channel, related platform settings and overall delivery of required functionality and infrastructure while maintaining a best-in-class customer experience and operating expense control including associated back office processes.
  • Lead the implementation of related product and systematic changes necessary for existing and new product and services development.
  • Be the lead technical subject matter expert for all ATM products, and network operations.
  • Continually assess operational needs; develop and implement system and workflow enhancements that drive improved efficiency, lower operational expense, innovation and superior member experience.
  • Directly manage associated vendors; including but not limited to contract SLA adherence, pricing, and issue resolution.
  • Lead 24/7 ATM operations issue resolution and response.
  • Represent all ATM strategic initiatives as a primary point of contact and subject matter expert with internal and external partners.
  • Manages the ATM leases and contracts.
  • Responsible for all accountability of physical cash that is provided by the Principle Cashier

To qualify for this role applicants must have the following:

  • A University Degree in a business related courses, with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration as an added advantage
  • Appropriate certifications with main ATM Brand types.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a financial institution with sound knowledge and relevant experience in ATM network management, ATM operations, payment scheme (i.e. Visa and MasterCard) business models, transactional banking, and bank operations.
  • Have a good understanding of the PCI-DSS policies, money laundering policies, the banking industry, competition and regulatory infrastructure.
  • Strong ability to successfully balance competing priorities in a fast paced environment. Have strong managerial, interpersonal, negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Problem solving capabilities are highly required
  • Ability to plan, organize, monitor and evaluate business performance in relation to set objectives. Knowledge of administrative procedures.
  • Ability to write business cases for Senior Management approval
