FAWE Rwanda with support from UN Women Rwanda, has opened a Rwanda Career Women’s Centre whose aim is to improve female participation in the labour market by equipping young women with the necessary skills to access employment and create profitable business. The center will provide leadership skills trainings, entrepreneurship, and digital skills as well as coaching and mentoring.
With funding from UN Women, FAWE Rwanda is looking for 30 ambitious Alumni graduates who are not yet employed to be trained in Job readiness (Leadership, Interview skills CV Writing), Digital Skills/ICDL, and be inspired by mentors and role models. The training will be free of charge and FAWE Rwanda will cover all the logistics necessary for the training.
Benefits of the training: Trainees will be equipped with knowledge on how to;
- write an effective application letter, have Interview skills, write a CV
- use digital skills profitably
- the trainees have access to female mentors who are have made it in their career and in the business to guide and inspire and mentor them.
To be eligible for the training, you should:
- have gone through FAWE schools or having been a FAWE scholarship beneficiary
- have a university degree certificate
- have finished university not before 2018
- be residing in Kigali
- commit to attend the training that will take two weeks.

- A copy of the degree certificate from the university
- A copy of your National Identity Card
- Recommendation letter from any of the FAWE schools where you completed S6, or document showing that you were a FAWE scholarship beneficiary or academic report for S.5 and S.6.
