MobiCash is looking for a Chief Revenue Officer to oversee company-wide revenue generation and build an integrated approach across marketing and sales to create the best customer experience. He’ll be responsible for revenue performance and for customer retention, customer growth, and new customer acquisition.

A chief revenue officer (CRO) will be responsible for every process that generates revenue in our organization. CROs work to connect different revenue-related functions, from marketing to sales, customer success, pricing, and revenue operations. He will mainly focus on improving sales performance, creating great product and pricing strategy, and delivering customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities of the Chief Revenue Officer

·         Strategy; work closely with the board to develop and own a strategy to drive incremental revenue and reduce churn.

·         Persona Development; define ideal buyers, select market segments, and pick audiences to engage using data-driven insights.

·         Metrics; set up top-down goals and metrics based on both internal goals and external market opportunities in selected markets.

·         Product; partner with product teams to define offerings, continuously refining value propositions and looking for differentiators.

·         GTM; define go-to-market models across offers and segments to access buyers, customers, and influencers.

·         Demand Generation; manage a variety of marketing programs to attract, engage, and convert leads.

·         Campaign Strategy; oversee campaign strategy, design and execution for marketing and sales to optimise buyer engagement and the efficient and effective execution of sales that maximises demo to closed deals.

·         Sales Management; manage the sales teams’ activities and competencies to sell our solutions and manage relationships predictably, so that they meet and exceed targets.

·         Account Management; ensure Account Managers are executing effectively to maximise retention, up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.

·         Brand; enable and maintain brand touchpoints to engage buyers across segments.

·         Infrastructure; integrate the revenue technology stack including marketing automaton, Salesforce CRM, digital channels, business intelligence, and customer data platform.

·         Recruitment; build a performance-based culture by attracting, hiring, and retaining top sales and marketing.

·         Budget; manage and allocate the budget to maximise performance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Developing and implementing the Commercial strategy for the business, including defining the go-to-market strategy;

·         Ensure performance, strategy and alignment of MobiCash’s revenue-generating departments; New Business Sales, Back-to-Base Sales and the Marketplace. Overall responsibility for achieving revenue goals;

·         Monitor the industry and team performance to analyse opportunities, providing competitive analysis, strategies, and tactics;

·         Collaborate with other departments and the Senior Leadership Team on messaging, pricing strategies, and business models to achieve revenue goals;

·         Developing and maintaining an excellent understanding of MobiCash’s key customers/target audience to ensure that their needs are being met and that their business is retained;

·         Alongside the Chief Executive Officer, oversee market research and analysis and produce business plans/recommendations (including all associated costs and forecasted revenue for the business), to ensure that all business development opportunities (new products, services and markets) are optimized;

·         Representing the company externally e.g. at networking events, conferences and exhibitions to enhance and strengthen the company’s profile and optimise all business development opportunities;

·         Direct line management of our 3 key revenue generating streams; New Business Sales, Account Management and Marketplace.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Proven ability to set ambitious targets and deliver at pace, you will be extremely comfortable with financial and performance measurement;

·         Experience in a marketplace or aggregator style business would be helpful but not essential;

·         Strong commercial acumen demonstrated through experience and an understanding of a B2B and B2C operating model. History of decision-making based on business metrics;

·         Ability to operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving and collaborative environment and work effectively cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally;

·         Ability to think strategically and develop, communicate, and implement a compelling vision and plan for Digital Transformation across an industry;

·         High levels of energy with the ability to set clear goals, devise plans, attend to appropriate details, meet deadlines, and inspire others to move in an established direction;

·         Strong deal execution capabilities and a skilled commercial negotiator – along with the ability to maximize business partnerships;

·         Proven experience leading, managing, and retaining a sales team of exceptional talent as well as creating a culture of innovation, accountability, and a commitment to achieving results.
