Job Summary

The Communications and Resource Mobilization Analyst is responsible for convening the design, planning, execution, and monitoring of communication and resource mobilization strategies to promote and support UNFPA’s mission in the country. H/she supports the management of network of partners and alliances to support the UNFPA programme, and employs resource mobilization tools to support the fundraising efforts of the Country Office. This Analyst is a member of a unit responsible for reporting on results, communication and partnerships.

Qualifications and Experience

Education: 

Advanced university degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Development, Political or related Social sciences field.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Up to two years of responsible professional work experience in the field of communication and resource mobilisation is desirable.
  • Supervisory experience would be an added advantage.

Languages:

Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda; knowledge of other official UN languages, preferably French, is desirable.
