The Junior Professional Officers programme (JPO) provides university graduates with the possibility of acquiring work experience with international organisations by contributing to policy formulation and implementation of activities in the field of development co-operation. The programme is open to candidates from the Netherlands and to candidates from developing countries.
The following position is open in the context of the Dutch Junior Professional Officers Programme 2019 and exclusively addressed to Developing Country candidates with a nationality from one of the following countries:
Afghanistan, Angola, Bangladesh, Benin, Bhutan, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Kiribati, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nepal, Niger, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Timor-Leste, Togo, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu, Yemen, Zambia.

Additional requirements for candidates from developing countries:
A) Do you possess a Master’s degree and a MINIMUM of 2 and a MAXIMUM of 4 years of relevant work experience?
While the Dutch JPO Programme does not have an age limit for applicants, only candidates with a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 4 years of work experience can be considered.
B) Did you complete part of your academic qualification (BA or MA or equivalent) in your home country or a developing country reflected above?
