The Higher Education Council (HEC) wishes to inform the general public that, through the Bilateral Cooperation between the Government of Rwanda and the Republic of Mauritius has offered to the Government of Rwanda fifteen (15) scholarships: five (5) scholarships per level of study (Bachelor, Masters and PhD].

Interested candidates should submit of the following documents:

• Application letter addressed to the Director General of HEC

• National ID, or Valid Passport

• Curriculum Vitae

• One (1) recent passport size photo

• Original – notified degree certificate and transcripts

• Proof of English Proficiency

• Completed application form

• Certified copy of birth certificate

• Certified copies of educational certificates

• Certified copies of transcripts

• Copy of letter of conditional offer by a Public Higher Education Institution in Mauritius [if available at time of application] or copy of acknowledgement notice from a Mauritian Public Higher Education Institution that the application for a seat has been made and the appropriate application fee has been paid;

• Medical certificate to be duly filled and signed by a registered Medical Practitioner in Section 6 of the Application Form. This should be appropriately stamped;

• A study plan for Masters and PhD applicants.

• The above-mentioned application documents will be submitted online to HEC MIS using the link: http://mis.hec.gov.rw/system-login.
