Job Description
A reputed insurance company in East Africa is currently setting up an insurance brokering division in Rwanda. It would like to hire an experienced entrepreneurial leader as its CEO in this new division.
Role Summary:
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will be responsible for the overall operations and marketing of the business and will specifically be responsible for compliance and all affairs relating to the insurance in Rwanda.
Requirements
The CEO should:
- At least have 5 years practical work experience in a senior managerial position or CEO.
- Be a holder of full ACII qualifications, MBA or equivalent.
- Have experience in the insurance industry, minimum 10 years.
- Have the professional knowledge in Claims, Underwriting, Reinsurance and Finance. An all-round experienced professional in insurance.
- Be the leader in the continued growth of the organization by driving sales and marketing and implementing company policies and procedures.
- Have been a profit center head and result oriented both in terms of top and bottom line.A sales pro that has achieved quantifiable results insurance.
