The IT and systems officer’s main role is to assist with providing IT support of the day-to-day BLF staff. The position also aims at coordinating IT-related activities for Education Development Trust in Rwanda.

About the organization
Education Development Trust is implementing the Building Learning Foundations (BLF) in Rwanda. The Building Learning Foundations program (BLF) is funded by the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development (DFID) and aims to improve the quality of teaching and leadership in all of Rwanda’s government-supported primary schools.
The programme is being implemented by a consortium of British not-for-profit organizations led by Education Development Trust in partnership with the British Council and VSO in all thirty districts of Rwanda. BLF has already benefitted all P1-P3 English and Mathematics teachers in all of Rwanda’s 2,494 primary schools improving learner outcomes of over one million P1 to P3 pupils.
