Job Description
responsible for conducting it security assessment for all RDB it infrastructure (i.e. Networks, systems, applications, database, servers, and user computers) to identify vulnerabilities
work closely with network, systems, software developer and applications administrators to ensure the compliance with RDB information security policies and procedures
responsible for planning, designing and implement security systems and solutions to protect RDB ICT systems
responsible for planning and raising information security awareness across RDB responsible for designing and implementing RDB security architecture
responsible for installing, tuning, upgrading, updating, and optimization of security systems
Responsible for monitoring information security threats, events and provide mitigation when threats are real.
responsible for acting as the 1st and 2nd line of support to respond to computer security incidents and investigation to identify the root cause
analyze cyber security trends(internal & external), provide monthly updates to RDB management about it security status with recommendations
writing and reviewing product security bulletins
responsible for coordinating the it security activities in it operation division
perform any other duty being subsequently assigned
Job Profile
Minimum Qualifications
•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or Information Management with Certification in CCNP or CCNP Security, and 3 years of relevant working experience or;
•Master’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or Information Management with Certification in CCNP or CCNP Security;
•A minimum of 2 IT Security Professional Certification in any of these; CISSP or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer and CISA or CPT and ITIL;
•At least one IT professional Certification in any of these; MCSE, MCITP, RHCE and ITIL is an added advantage;
Key Competencies required
•Demonstrated strong skills in networking and IT systems Security;
•Strong skills in Web application Penetration Testing (PT);
•Demonstrated skills in using Java, .NET, PHP and Paython and related programs;
•Demonstrated skills in IT security audits, Vulnerability assessment and remediation;
•Organized, with integrity and high professional ethical standards;
•Ability to multi- task and get things done in a fast paced environment;
•Detail orientated, proactive with strong team work skills;
•Knowledge in ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CISA and other relevant software and security systems;
•Strong command of written and spoken English;
•Proficiency in French and Kinyarwanda is an added advantage;
