Kabuye Sugar Works Ltd, Madhvani Group Company seeks to recruit.

1. Sr. Accountant:

The incumbent will be responsible for day to day accounting, help Financial Controller in finalization of accounts, liaise with internal, statutory and RRA auditors.

The candidate should be an individual with attention to details with 10 years’ experience in manufacturing industry, and a Masters’ degree in Commerce. Thorough knowledge in Tally ERP and MS Office is essential. MBA would be an advantage. Person with demonstrable capability to train accounts staff is desirable for the position.

2. Internal Auditor:

Reporting to the Group Internal Audit Manager, the incumbent will be responsibleto:

  • Carry out pre-audit of all payments and financial transactions.
  • Auditing of sales and purchase transactions on periodical basis,
  • Auditing of stores inventory regularly,
  • Auditing of agriculture inputs / weighbridge records and labour payments,
  • Developing/scheduling audit plans for the company, carrying out regular, investigative, follow-up audits and reviews,
  • Carry out audit as per the schedule and report deviations and corrective actions,
  • Carry out special audits as needed.
  • Prepare audit reports and follow up with HODs for implementation, of audit recommendations
  • Any other assignments assigned from time to time.

The person should have:

  • Degree in CPA/CA/ Cost accounting/ or equivalent qualification, Experience of around 3 years in a similar job.
  • Familiar with computer applications and relevant accounting – systems.
