Umwalimu Sacco is a Savings & Credit Cooperative for Rwandan Teachers that has been operational since 2006, but was licensed by National Bank of Rwanda (BNR), to operate as a financial institution in 2008. The SACCO has contributed to teachers’ development and welfare throughout the country.
