Based at the Rwanda Biomedical Center (RBC) and under the supervision of the HIV Active Case-based Surveillance (CBS) Project Manager at RBC and HIV Prevention Unit Director, the Recency testing focal Person (RFP) will contribute to the planning, follow up, implementation, and management of HIV recent infection response. The RFP will be responsible to overseeing cluster detection, investigation and response. The RFP will support the site-level response for all HIV recent infections, assess the site-level cluster response according to National HIV guidelines, record the data from his/her catchment area and communicate the findings to the CBS–TRACE team under RBC/HIV Prevention.
The incumbent is required to have a minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Biomedical Laboratory and Clinical Medicine. Additional trainings and experience in HIV testing services is an added advantage.
Minimum four (4) years of related experience in HIV testing services, mentorship and counselling, active case finding, linkage and enrollment to care and treatment
Successful candidate is expected to start on January 3, 2020.
