Ruhengeri Institute of Higher Education (INES-Ruhengeri) is calling for applications to the following current vacant position:
Professor/Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in accounting
The person: Applicants should possess a PhD in Accounting with teaching experience.
Applicant should also have a solid background in research as demonstrated by published papers in national and international academic journals. Applicants must have a strong commitment to contributing to the continuous improvement of the INES’s academic programs and to developing a coherent and high quality research program and the capacity to participate in the Institution’s engagement activities.
The role: The successful appointee will be expected to teach at all levels in the field of accounting and be capable of teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students. The appointee will also be expected to engage in individual and/or group research in Accounting leading to publication of scholarly papers in high quality journals and to seek competitive research funding.
