 Job Description

  • Define, in consultation with the members of the Business Advisory Services Division clear indicators, with baselines and targets, for each supported project Develop a results measurement plan for each supported project as per the agreed template Design, implement and interpret surveys and statistical analyses to inform evaluation.
  • Report upon and present survey results, conclusions and implications to the management team and relevant operational units.
  • Follow up on completed projects to gather information on outcomes and continue support Ensure that the relevant project implementation teams undertake an annual review of the overall progress of their value chain. Ensure data from the Results Monitoring Platforms is fed into the overall NIRDA results measurement system and onwards to the MINICOM monitoring system.
  • Contribute expertise and input as required into cros- functional project teams.

 Job Profile

Master’s Degree in Project Management, Business Management, Economics, Management, Development Studies, Business Administration , Public Administration or Monitoring and Evaluation.

Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Business Management, Economics, Management, Development Studies, Business Administration Public Administration or Monitoring and Evaluation with 3 years of relevant working experience.

Key technical skills and knowledge required:

  •  Strong command of written and spoken English.
  •  Knowledge of results based management, logical framework approach, strategic planning processes and tools.
  •  Demonstrated experience evaluating technology projects.
  •  Demonstrated experience monitoring project operations from start to end.
  •  High analytical capability to inform NIRDA’s learning when assessing industry performance under various projects.
  • Extensive understanding of the national, regional and international contexts of industrial research and development agenda.
  • High analytical capacities, ability to communicate key learnings effectively through various reporting tools
  •  Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
