Job Description
1. Mobilization and risk behaviors change among youth:
- Mobilize and educate youth for effective prevention of risk behaviours;
- Sensitise youth for civic engagement and mind set change;
- Lead dialogues among youth and fight against HIV/AIDS;
- Organize BCC/IEC activities through trainings and other activities;
- mobilize and sensitize youth on VCT services and other services offered by the center;
- Train and to manage the peer educators groups;
- Coordinate and strengthen youth groups;
- Lead youth talent development at the center level.
2. Mobilize youth for economic empowerment:
- Lead and initiate initiatives for youth development and inclusiveness;
- Ensure mobilization for saving culture and investment among youth;
- Lead social economic initiative such as literacy hygiene, fight against malnutrition and volunteerism;
- Mobilize youth for community engagement and civic participation.
3. Report:
- Prepare the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports of activities share them with the supervisor;
- Carry out any other assignment as requested by the supervisor;
- Prepare analytical reports on key areas in prevention of risky behaviours among youth requiring special attention and advise accordingly;
- Carrying out any other relevant tasks assigned by the Ministry authorities.
Job Profile
A0 in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Education Sciences, Public Health.
