Job overview/description

Responsible for the provincial office and program management of all programs, stakeholders, donors implemented in the province. Driving the performance of the provincial teams to ensure all targets and objectives are met and achieved.
Responsibilities · Develop and Manage provincial annual performance plan
· Develop monthly site-level work plans

· Weekly Planning and Reporting

· Effective management of the Programme for ECD Centres (HEN)

· Effective management of the SUCCEED Programme centres

· Effective Management of the KFC nutrition programme

· Manage and coordinate key events in the province

· Addressing critical programmatic challenges and bottlenecks.

· Manage head counts and overtime within agreed budgets

· Maintain effective leave planning and absenteeism management

· Recruit the right talent, with the right skills, knowledge and values

· Review performance in discussion with employees, agree ratings and set goals for new period

· Continuously communicate and provide constructive feedback and coaching to employees

· Take fair and appropriate disciplinary action where required

· Adhere to OHSA requirements e.g. PPE, training, safety reps, administration, meetings

· Effective Management of the provincial staff, i.e. Community Worker, PSGL`s and Volunteers

· Ensuring that staff supervisory weekly meetings take place

· Manage and develop relationships with Massmart and KFC stores in the province

· Formalising and maintaining partnerships and networks with government structures and other service providers.

· Attending Stakeholder meetings.

· Manage provincial budget and resources

· Develop, maintain and manage a supplier database

· Develop, maintain and manage an asset register for the equipment purchased for ECD centres & Provincial Office

· Ensure that weekly plans and monthly reports are done timeously

· Monitor data and service quality.

· Communicate weekly progress of implementation with Senior Program Manager.

· Submit Monthly Progress Reports.

· Report to the Senior Programme Manager on all key meetings in the province

Minimum requirements
Qualifications · Matric and Diploma/Degree (ECD/Social Services/Community Based Work)
· Certification in Project Management or equivalent

· Early Childhood Development (ECD) Skill Programme advantageous

· Community Based Qualification (advantageous)

· Facilitation Short Courses will be advantageous

· Computer Literacy Certificate

· Drivers Licence (code 8/10) – Compulsory

· Own Vehicle – Compulsory

Experience · A minimum of 5 – 10 years’ work experience in community-based programmes
· Experience in working in the field with children, parents and communities provincially advantageous

· Presentation of program experience

· Running workshops and training experience

· Travelling to different disadvantaged communities (Ability to travel to communities)
