Job overview/description
– Early Childhood Development Coordination and Supervision of Provincial Center based and Non-Centre Based Programs
– Supervise ECD Center and Parenting Programs Community workers in the communities, to ensure optimum performance and that programme targets are achieved.
Responsibilities · Coordinate and oversee implementation of all provincial programs
· Train Teams to understand HWSA Policies and SOPs
· Supervise all the Community Workers and Volunteers
· Supervise all the teams for the SUCCEED center and non-center based programs
· Ensure efficient and effective implementation of the SUCCEED Program
· Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the Add HOPE programs
· Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the HEN & HTA Program
· Report to the M&E department on all data reported
· Ensure collection of supporting documents for HEN, HTA and PSG enrolment fee are collected and deposited to HWSA account according to number of beneficiaries
· Ensure the SUCCEED Awards and PSGL graduations take place accordingly
· Run PSG Forums and HEN Workshops
· Monitor and ensure that the community workers perform their assessments and carry out spot checks to ensure that these are done.
· Manage performance of all CWs
· Drive the effective distribution of the nutritional programme to ECD Centers and households within your respective areas
· Support and carry out HEN Presentations
· Conduct PSGL and community worker refresher training
· Verify the data of all the community workers
· Ensure the toy and book library are up to date and fully equipped
· Assist with all the special events taking place in your areas
· To have due regard for confidentiality of the organization, its staff and beneficiaries.
· To meet the mutually agreed time commitments, giving reasonable notice when this is not possible.
· Support ECD Centre’s in your area of work
· Reporting to Provincial Office Manager on all activities
· Report to HEN Coordinator on HEN Matter, M&E, Logistics, Compliance Manager and other Senior Managers as required
· Compiling reports for the province on program activities
Minimum requirements
Qualifications · Matric or equivalent
· ECD NQF L4/5 Certification or Diploma or related
· Project Management Certificate or Community Based Certificate
· Driver’s License (advantageous)
