The Hinga Weze project is releasing a Request for Applications (RFA) to award grants in support of its activities.The grants will be awarded and implemented in accordance with the USAID and US Government regulations governing grants and Hinga Weze internal grants management policies.

This RFA is designed to target investments and partners that will help to mitigate the unique challenges faced by youth, including limited or no access to inputs, technology, finance, expertise, and markets. The Hinga Weze youth integration program in five (5) agriculture value chain crops seek to facilitate inclusive agribusiness investments that promote and support youth groups and entrepreneurs within the agriculture sector in the designated geographical locations for Hinga Weze intervention.

Hinga Weze investments in individual grant activities are anticipated to range from $10,000 to $40,000 USD. The period of performance is anticipated to be for 1 year, from June 2019 to June 2020.
