About Girls in Code Program
Girls in code Program, Is an initiative by Ida Technology which aims to close the gender gap in technology by creating a global environment that empowers and encourages girls and women to consider carrier in the growing field of coding, by enabling the community to reap the benefits of greater female participation in the coding sector and ICT in general.
Objectives
- Providing today’s computer knowledge in software development for girls and Women in Rwanda.
- Train needy female (Girls and Women) to become skilled, productive and creative in software development.
- Raise awareness of the community as a whole.
Applications are now open for the Girl in Code scholarship program. All girls interested in coding/programming are eligible to apply.
How to apply
Application deadline: November 25,2018
Please note:
- Only completed applications accompanied by all supporting documents where needed will be considered.
- Scholarships are awarded only for girls only.
- Scholarships are limited in number, and subject to availability. Even if an applicant meets Scholarship criteria, a scholarship may not be awarded.
