BRALIRWA Plc seeks to fill the position of a Security Officer in Security Department, on temporary terms.

Duration: 12 months

Location: Gisenyi

Key responsibilities:

• Provide coaching and supervision of security guards provided by the contractual company
• Ensure proper operation of all safety equipment
• Check and ensure that the products and/or outgoing packages are sold and authorized
• Supervise and monitor the recording of all inbound & outbound products and packaging into the company systems
• Give the necessary support in case there are investigations required
• Prevent and deter intrusion and / or theft and mitigate all risks that would result into accidents in the Plant
• Ensure the good reception and orientation of visitors and employees through coordination with the Reception attendants
• Oversee the safety agenda in a legal framework

Qualifications:  Education/Knowledge/Skills and Experience

• Must have a minimum secondary diploma in Law, IT, Administrative or Political Sciences, Military Science, or any other related field.
• Working Experience of 3 years in Security Company.
• Working knowledge of MS Office packages-Word & Excel.
• Must have language proficiency in English, French and Kinyarwanda.
• Must have a Rwandan driving license Category B
• Having done military or police service is an added value
