Background.

Broadband Systems Corporation, Ltd (“BSC Ltd”) is a licensed Internet Service Provider (ISP) that has been incorporated under the laws and regulations of the Republic of Rwanda.

The company is engaged in the business of providing advanced Information Communication Technology (“ICT”) services based on broadband connectivity.

In order to effectively accomplish its business objectives, BSC Ltd is looking for qualified and competent candidate to fill the vacant position of a Senior Account Manager-In charge of Presales and Projects.

Key responsibilities

– Developing relationships with clients to acquire new business and network with existing
customers for business retention

– Conducting market statistical analysis to establish sales leads based on market needs
assessment.

– Managing customer accounts through proper & complete accounts management process

– Products analysis and development following appropriate product development cycle

– Persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality,
price and delivery;

– To supervise the implementation of the product and train employees on its use.

– Maintain customers ‘account and ensure that there is a continued communications between the company and its customers

– Communicate to customers about the benefits and expectations of different products

– Developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their
requirements;

– Negotiating tender, preparing bids and contract terms and conditions to meet both client
and company needs;

– Calculating client quotations and administering client accounts;

– Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services;

– Analyzing costs and sales and preparing periodical reports for head office;

– Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects;

– Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events;

– Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts;

– Helping in the design of custom-made products and solutions;

– Performing any other duty as assigned by your supervisor.

– Providing training and producing support material for other members of the sales team

Qualification and Experience

– Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business IT, Business Administration is required; a combination of business and technical background is preferred.

– Minimum 4 years of Selling experience in telecom industry and at least 2 years’ experience in project management; PMP a plus but not required,

– Customer Relation Management skills

– Extensive and in-depth knowledge about the technicalities of a product

– Great analytical and organizational skills

– Ability to solve problems and communicate persuasively.

– Ability to interact with people from various businesses in an office or industrial setting.

– A solid technical background with sales skills;

– Communication skills, sound judgment and good business sense;

– Team working ability and detail-oriented.

– Ability to build relationships quickly and effectively;
