The SheTrades Rwanda project aims to increase the competitiveness of women owned businesses in Rwanda and connect them to markets. The project is implemented from September 2020 – February 2022.The project will reach its objective by:

• improving the business support ecosystem to support the growth of women’s economic empowerment initiatives and activities through the establishment of SheTrades Hub in Rwanda (open to all sectors); and
• increasing the competitiveness and business-linkage opportunities of women owned businesses in the coffee and horticulture sectors.

To support women entrepreneurs in Rwanda with accessing digital trade, SheTrades Rwanda is rolling out a Digitial Marketing Mentoring Programme for 20 women entrepreneurs.

This mentoring programme will begin in early July and be completed by August 2021. Each selected women entrepreneur will be given 8 hours of mentoring with a digital marketing expert. Participants of this programme are encouraged to bring along their staff to the mentoring sessions to maximize learning opportunities.
