THAILAND – RWANDA GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP

The Higher Education Council (HEC) wishes to inform the general public that through the Bilateral Cooperation between the Government of Rwanda and Thailand, the latter (through the Thailand International Postgraduate Programmes – TIPP) has offered to the Government of Rwanda five (5) scholarships for Masters levers in the fields of: Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP), Climate Change, Food Security , Public Health and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) tenable in Thailand, commencing in academic year 2020-2021.

Interested candidates should submit all of the following application documents:

  • Application letter addressed to the Executive Director of HEC;
  • National ID or Valid Passport ;
  • Curriculum Vitae ;
  • One (1) passeport size photo ;
  • Original – notified certificate and transcripts;
  • A study Plan or Research Proposal ( Minimum 500 words);
  • Filled forms for Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) available on HEC website.

  1. Be a Government employee and should submit a recommendation letter from the Head of relevant institution ;
  2. Submit filled application form available on HEC website ;
  3. Be less than 50 years of age, have a Bachelors Degree in relevant field ;
  4. Posses a medical report from a recognized Government practitioner.

This scholarship covers all costs: tuition fees, accommodation fees, health insurance, one round air ticket. Any other extra expenses that are associated, or which may arise in due course will be covered personally by the candidate.

A complete application file should be submitted to the Higher Education Council, Students Loan Department, Remera (near REB) not later than 16/03/2020 at 11:00 am
