The University of Rwanda is a public institution of Higher learning committed to support the development of the country through the generation and advancement of knowledge and innovation among other core activities. In this framework, the UR in collaboration with University Catholique de Louvain (Beligium) has got a funding to implement the project entitled “Analysis and management of patients with distinct clinical presentations of malaria” from ARES/PRD Program.

In this framework, The university of Rwanda wishes to recruit 2 PhD candidates in the areas of geography and nutrition to work along biomedical scientists on this multidisciplinary project aiming to improve the management of clinical forms of Malaria (Severe or Asymptomatic carriers) based on the relationship between environmental factors, nutrition, immune responses and these clinical forms.

Interested candidates are required to have a MSc degree related to above mentioned fields and should submit a 2-page concept note indicating their methodology, a short CV and an application letter to infospiu@ur.ac.rw with a copy to nrujeni@gmail.com and jean-paul.coutelier@uclouvain.be not later than the 5th May 2019.

Shortly after the submission deadline, eligible candidates will be orally evaluated by a panel.
