VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Africa Humanitarian Action (AHA) is an international humanitarian non-governmental organisation providing effective humanitarian assistance to alleviate human suffering. AHA has been operating building on the strength of African people to solve African problems for the past 25 years. AHA in partnership with the Government of Rwanda, (MINEMA) & UNHCR provides Primary Health Care, Nutrition and HIV/AIDS services to refugees residing in Kiziba, Kigeme and Mugombwa camps, urban refugees in Kigali and Huye, for Rwandan Returnees in two Transit Centres, Kijote and Nyarushishi and two Reception Centres (Bugesera and Nyanza). AHA currently wants to employ qualified and motivated personnel for the following positions:
1.Data Manager (1)
Requirements.
-Work experience in health sector, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and coordination of health and nutrition services in Hospitals or NGOs.
Educational Requirements
-Education and training required, A0 in Public Health, Statistics, ICT or other related fields with 2 years and above of experience.
2.Nutrition Coordinator (1)
Requirements.
Working experience in Nutrition program, Quality leadership and team working skills, good interpersonal and communication skills, Familiar with MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel.
Educational Requirements
A0 in nutritional science, dietetics, or food science and other related fields with 3 years of experience.
3.HIV/AIDS Coordinator (1)
Requirements.
Experience in management of HIV/AIDS prevention care and treatment support program preferably in an NGO.
Educational Requirements
A0 in Public Heath, Nursing or other related fields with 4 years of experience.
4.Midwife
Requirements.
Midwifery or MNCH, work experience in health centre, public or private hospitals.
Educational Requirements
A1 in Midwifery and 4 years of work experience
5.Interpreter English –Amharic
Requirements.
-Minimum of 2 Years of Experience as interpreter or translator providing Amharic-English-Amharic translation Service.
Educational Requirements
A1/A0 in Languages or other related disciplines.
6.Interpreter English-Somali (1)
Requirements.
-Minimum of 2 Years of Experience as interpreter or translator providing Somali-English- Somali translation Service, be ready to work at Gashora Reception Centre.

A1/A0 in Languages and other related disciplines
7.Interpreter English–Tigrigna
-Minimum of 2 Years of Experience as an interpreter or translator providing Tigrigna-English-Tigrigna translation Service.
Educational Requirements
A1/A0 in Languages and other related disciplines
Starting date: As soon as possible
Period: One year renewable
Required: Rwandan Nationality & Other Nationalities are accepted for the interpreters.
For all posts, working experience with NGOs interacting with refugees or displaced population is an added value.
