MTN Rwanda is therefore Internally and Externally recruiting highly competent and self-motivating individual for the below Position in Consumer Department

• Determine customers’ Voice needs and increase the penetration of voice within segments through insights-led products and services that encourage trial and adoption
• Develop new product proposals for Voice, enhance existing value propositions, supported by customer insights, market data and competitive analysis and develop business cases demonstrating a return on investment
• To drive customer adoption, usage and retention for the Voice portfolio and manage churn intelligence information on an on-going basis, (in relation to benchmarking and competition)
• Engage internal and external stakeholders to follow up on implementation of Voice initiatives
• Maintain full documentation of all products and changes done on the Voice business (products catalogue, business cases, change request tracking, product development, test plans, competitor activities, etc.)
• To drive the development and launch of the Mass Market value proposition
• Collect, analyze and interpret a wide variety of Mass Market offerings’ data and develop weekly /monthly reports in preparation for business review meetings
• Engage internal and external stakeholders to follow up on implementation of the Mass Market initiatives.
• Provide insights for the Mass Segment Management
• To drive customer adoption, usage and retention for the Mass Market Segment and manage churn intelligence information on an on-going basis, (in relation to benchmarking and competition
• Evaluate performance measured against the following areas:
Base and revenue contribution
Identify new opportunities/enhancements
Post Go-to-Market intelligence gathering and insight
Customer lifecycle management
• Provide and maintain a strong and reliable database to facilitate tracking and improvement of the Voice and Mass Market offerings and provide information enabling business decisions to be made.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and year to date (YTD) measurement reports.
• Develop and secure approvals for concept notes to feed into Product Development
• Report and analyse Voice and Mass Market Activations, Customer Retention /Churn trends and activity plans.
• Establish and maintain contact with external intelligence both locally and internationally, and verify the authenticity of the information received
• Analyse relevant best practices and provide recommendations for improved portfolio performance
• Assist and advise stakeholders in making informed and effective business decision.
• Continuously seek self-professional development to sharpen skills and capabilities in a versatile and evolving digital landscape.
• Foster active collaboration and relationships with employees across all levels and divisions in line with MTN’s vital behaviours and values.

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Mathematics, Accounting, or any related discipline
• Fluent in English & Kinyarwanda
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in telecommunications or FMCG, working across product development and marketing in emerging markets
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
