Mastercard foundation graduate scholarships for African students 2019 (Fully funded)The American University of Beirut (AUB) is offering full scholarships for graduate education for the academic year 2019-20 in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation.
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at AUB aims to prepare young people to be agents of change in their communities, countries, and regions. The program requires scholars to attend a series of workshops, courses and field work in addition to the courses for their degree.
Application deadline: March 18, 2019.​

Eligibility and Admission Criteria

Graduate scholarships are open to:
  1. Nationals of Africa
  2. Nationals of Lebanon
  3. R​​​efugee and displaced living in Lebanon
Selection and admission are based on: 
  • Academic promise
  • Financial disadvantage
  • Leadership potential
  • Desire to give back and go back to one’s community

Application

Applicants should fill out this questionnaire, After they have completed the Online AUB Graduate Application Form (https://graduateadmissions.aub.edu.lb) and uploaded supporting documents as per the requirements indicated on the online application.

Requirements for graduate admissions to AUB are as follows:

1- Official university transcript(s) – All levels
2- Graduate Application (apply online)
3- 2 recommendation letters
4- English Language Requirements (upon admission)
5- GMAT is required for the MBA program.  GRE is required for some majors at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences as detailed at: http://www.aub.edu.lb/graduatecouncil/Pages/faq.aspx
6- Application fees ($50 or L.L.75,000)
