InciSioN Global Surgery Symposium 2019The International Student Surgical network- InciSioN Is proud to present the 2nd InciSioN Global Surgery Symposium 2019, which will be held in Kigali, Rwanda on April 20th- 21st 2019. With a theme of “Fostering International Partnerships: Opportunity and Challenges” The IGSS2019 is the second independently organized symposium, after IGSS2018 held in Leuven, Belgium.

The conference is unique in that it is an excellent and affordable Scientific event in Global surgery.The InciSioN Global Surgery Symposium (IGSS) brings together global audience of specialists, residents and students; linking them with global surgery experts like surgeons, anaesthestesiolgists, obstetricians with both in-filed and academic experience and public health experts from international organizations and civil society from all over the world, to learn about basic concepts of global surgery, recent development and next steps to be taken by both international community and local stakeholders.

IGSS aims to equip participants with the needed skills and connections to make a change in their home countries Through capacity building, diversity, and educational programs.

It also bridges the gap between students and residents, specialists, and other healthcare professionals from around the world, to come up with collaborative and innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing global surgery challenges.

Beside the professional part, IGSS 2019 will be a great opportunity to enjoy the multi- cultural diversity of participant in the heart of Africa, land of thousands of hills.

SUBMISSION RULES

  • Each individual may only submit a maximum of 2 abstracts for consideration.

  • The abstract submitted for the Symposium should be no longer than 250 words (title not included).

  • The poster presented at the Symposium should be no longer than 800 words (title not included).

  • Please ensure your email address is correct as you will be notified by email if your submission has been accepted.

All submissions will be evaluated based on:

  • Relevance to Global Surgery

  • Scientific rigor

  • Impact

  • Originality
