AWEP Rwanda in partnership with the United States of America’s Embassy in Kigali is offering an opportunity for talented business women to acquire different skills they need to further their businesses.
Embrace Digital Literacy is a 3 days intensive business program designed to help participants acquire:
1. Market Searching
2. Business Communication
3. Designing Marketing Materials
4. Effective Business Locating
5. Budgeting
The program will be interractive and practical to make sure participants are able to apply the aforementioned concepts in their daily business activities. Participants will also be eligible to becoming members of AWEP Rwanda network.
Here are the key objectives of the program:
a. Train young and established women entrepreneurs on entrepreneurial skills and how to incorporate ICT tools in their business activities, allowing them to be faster and widen their market reach
b. Create a forum of women entrepreneurs for future collaboration and exchange of best practices

AWEP Rwanda plans to carry out a series of training workshops in the described themes in strategic locations around the country, with main focus on the areas outside the capital. Categories of participants include both starter women entrepreneurs and those with some hands-on experience in business practices. We are targeting women entrepreneurs with startups interested in using technology to take their ventures to the next levels. They should be between 18 – 35 years old and have legally registered businesses from the following locations:
1. Kigali City at Kigali Public Library on (19 – 20 November 2020, from 9 am – 5 pm)
2. Rubavu & Musanze (American Corner Rubavu)
3. Huye (Gisagara, Huye, Nyamagabe)
4. Kayonza & Rwamagana
Important Notes:
i. Participants will take care of their transportation fees (To & from the training centers)
ii. Lunch and other refreshments will be provided.
Note that each program participant should be aged between 18 – 35 and have a legally registered business (Registration certificate is required).
