Introduction
Implemented by Imbuto Foundation, in partnership with UNFPA, MINIYOUTH and KOICA, the Innovation Accelerator (iAccelerator) is a mentorship driven acceleration programme which aims at promoting an entrepreneurial spirit among youth and encourages them to think critically and creatively on issues related to sexual reproductive health.
The iAccelerator seeks to generate innovative, youth-led solutions for youth in Rwanda, to have increased utilization of health services and adopt healthy and safe attitudes and behaviors.
The Programme
The iAccelerator will start with a countrywide selection of sustainable and scalable youth-friendly SRH projects. The top 3 projects will win a grant, as well as access to 3 months of training & mentorship.

Challenges to solve:
- Availing accessible ASRH information and services for adolescents and youth with disabilities.
- Increasing knowledge and awareness on mental health issues faced by youth, and mitigating the stigma in seeking help and guide where they can find support.
Dates
The applications will be open from 13 November 2020 and close on 13 December 2020 at 11:59pm.
Eligibility
- Male & female youth that are passionate in creating solutions towards availability of information and services related to sexual reproductive health and mental health in their communities, taking into consideration people with disabilities.
- All Rwandan Nationals and Residents of Rwanda.
- Aged 18 to 30 years old.
