Description of the assignment: Recruitment of National Individual Consultant as Climate Change Adaptation Specialist to Prepare the Full Project Document for a GEF-7 Project ‘Ecosystems/Landscape Approach to Climate Proof the Rural Settlement Program of Rwanda’
Period of assignment: 80 working days in 9 calendar months
UNDP Rwanda is looking to recruit a National Individual Consultancy for Climate Change Adaptation Specialist to Prepare the Full Project Document for a GEF-7 Project ‘Ecosystems/Landscape Approach to Climate Proof the Rural Settlement Program of Rwanda’. The National Climate Change Adaptation Specialist will work closely with the Team Leader, and will be responsible for collecting and analyzing project baseline data on the landscape approach under the guidance of the Team Leader, as well as support the Team Leader and other members on the preparation of all other analysis (gender, safeguard, livelihood and private sector) during the ProDoc preparation. He/she will also lead engagement with stakeholders.
